It all began in 2012 in a cottage in our back yard that we rebuilt, in Bayside, Nova Scotia, Canada. It was not well seen from the road, so I eventually turned it also into a cottage rental, and tried to operate both from this building. The Rental took off so well that my husband had to build me another studio/gallery. Link to a post about our previous cottage rental, with things to do in the area

The upgrade to my own gallery, which was in a better location on our property, in Bayside, Nova Scotia, was finished in 2015.
When I was open, my signs were out.
The move back to Saskatchewan in 2017 left me wondering what I was going to do, so a bedroom upstairs was turned into Donna’s Gallery, and my studio was downstairs. Our house and Donna’s Gallery was located at 1291 Grand Ave, Buena Vista, Saskatchewan, Canada.
In August 2020, we decided to move closer to home and purchased a quarter section in the RM of Canwood, with a Mont Nebo address, and on Fur Lake. The Fur Lake day campground is just down from our house, and we also have access to other parts of Fur Lake on our property. I have 267 acres to roam and get inspiration from. Right now I have my studio in our home and hope to one day have a beautiful Gallery like I did in Nova Scotia. Only time will tell.
2021 We cleaned up an old grainery that was full of mice and rats and lots of junk. Yes we wore masks, and after cleaning it out, pressure washed it. We put a new roof on it, and added doors, patio door, and a window. I hope to be showing my art in my new spot for the 2022 Thickwood Hills Studio Trail.
