Time to get back to painting.

Since moving to our quarter section of land on Fur Lake, we have been busy cleaning up the property, fencing, and renovating the house. I feel so blessed to be living in such beautiful surroundings.

This year I joined the Thickwood Hills Studio Trail and then wondered where I would show my work. Well we had an old grainery on the property that was full of junk, mice dropping and even a dead rat, but after a good cleaning and some fixing and putting in windows, I now have a place to show my art for next years Studio Tour.

I love my daily walk around the property, seeing all kinds of wildlife, and enjoying the beautiful scenery. I plan to do a series of paintings on where I live.

I have never been good with words and they say a picture is worth a 1000 words, so here are some pictures.

The old grainery that has been fixed up as Donna’s Gallery.

An evening boat ride on Fur Lake, a chain of 3 lakes.

Water fun on Fur Lake.

Winter fun skidooing and ice fishing on Fur Lake, and sledding on the hill in front of our home on our property.
